Alicia + Eddie's Pancake Breakfast Engagement Shoot

21
JAN

Reblogged by annadelores

I LOVE this engagement session! Simple, charming, romantic, with great images!

We're infatuated with this Portland couple's engagement session from HazelwoodPhoto!

By WedOverHeels | Reblogs: 1 | View Original

Creativity, cuteness and domestic bliss; what more could we ask for in an engagement session! This couple's home is as lovely as they are, filled with amazing projects already celebrating their life together.

We featured Sarah of Hazelwood Photography's work on our blog before. Her New Orleans Zombie Tattoo Bride is one of our most trafficked posts to date!

From Sarah:

"We started with a pancake breakfast in the kitchen and ended up antique hunting (one of my favorite hobbies.) I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Gallery 903 in the Pearl District next Autumn!"

We can't wait either! When we find a couple this adorable working with a pro like Hazelwood, we love to come back for seconds.

Just like pancakes;)

Charline & Micah: Married in Pomona, CA

11
DEC

Vintage-inspired, rustic wedding ceremony and reception at Kellogg House in Pomona, California in early November.

By annadelores | Reblogs: 0 | View Source

You may remember these two TOTAL babes from their engagement session here.  Charline and Micah first met while attending California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA and therefore chose the on-campus venue Kellogg House to host their rustic-inspired wedding ceremony and reception.

I am so, so lucky to have been a part of their incredible wedding day in early November.  Here is a collection of images to help tell the story of Charline and Micah's beautiful day.

Charline and Micah did not have a bridal party and their intimate celebration was joined by family and close friends.  Micah entered the ceremony with both of his parents by his side, and Charline's mother walked her down the aisle.  Micah's brother Nathan served as ring bearer.

During the lovely November afternoon ceremony, the couple acknowledged the love and support of their parents with gifts and flowers, and Charline's brother Nick read a poem by Kahlil Gibran.  Charline and Micah also enclosed love letters they had written to each other inside a box with a bottle of wine, to be opened upon the occasion of the first "bump in the road" of their marriage as reaffirmation of their love and commitment as husband and wife.  (I LOVED that! Such a cool idea.)

The informal reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, delicious food and drink, great music, and lots of dancing (and the bride traded in her Badgley Mischka heels for comfortable flat sandals); Charline and Micah's friends really know how to have a great time on the dance floor!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to Charline and Micah for giving me the privilege and honor of being part of their genuine celebration of their love for each other.  I really hope to stay in touch with you guys and you've really spoiled me, as you've been the most incredible, down-to-earth, easy-going, wonderful clients a girl could ask for.  Best wishes for your beautiful new life together!

Campfire-inspired! A great incarnation of the tried-and-true woodland theme. I'm definitely on board for this.

Inspiration for a cozy campfire wedding

By limnandlovely | Reblogs: 1 | View Original

We're really drawn to the idea of a cozy camping wedding, complete with a campfire, toasted marshmallows, and a honeymooon tent. See the full post here.
