You may remember these two TOTAL babes from their engagement session here. Charline and Micah first met while attending California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA and therefore chose the on-campus venue Kellogg House to host their rustic-inspired wedding ceremony and reception.
I am so, so lucky to have been a part of their incredible wedding day in early November. Here is a collection of images to help tell the story of Charline and Micah's beautiful day.
Charline and Micah did not have a bridal party and their intimate celebration was joined by family and close friends. Micah entered the ceremony with both of his parents by his side, and Charline's mother walked her down the aisle. Micah's brother Nathan served as ring bearer.
During the lovely November afternoon ceremony, the couple acknowledged the love and support of their parents with gifts and flowers, and Charline's brother Nick read a poem by Kahlil Gibran. Charline and Micah also enclosed love letters they had written to each other inside a box with a bottle of wine, to be opened upon the occasion of the first "bump in the road" of their marriage as reaffirmation of their love and commitment as husband and wife. (I LOVED that! Such a cool idea.)
The informal reception was filled with heartfelt toasts, delicious food and drink, great music, and lots of dancing (and the bride traded in her Badgley Mischka heels for comfortable flat sandals); Charline and Micah's friends really know how to have a great time on the dance floor!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to Charline and Micah for giving me the privilege and honor of being part of their genuine celebration of their love for each other. I really hope to stay in touch with you guys and you've really spoiled me, as you've been the most incredible, down-to-earth, easy-going, wonderful clients a girl could ask for. Best wishes for your beautiful new life together!
