You may remember the above photo from our homepage when we launched WedOverHeels. We were so honored to feature this photo by Warm Pears and just loved the feelings it evoked as well as its gorgeous glowing tone.
When designing the site, we wanted to instill a few emotions the second a visitor arrived; Gina's work captured everything we envisioned and much, much more. Her photos are full of happiness and instantly make you feel welcome. They have a feeling of warmth, like you have arrived somewhere that is already familiar and comfortable. And the romance... every image is filled with authentic emotions and real people. Gina's photographs make you want to meet the people in them.
Once we were introduced to Gina, we knew we had found not only a photographer whose work encapsulated our vision, but a truly wonderful person. We reached out to Gina and asked if we could feature her work on our yet-to-launch site. Luckily for us, she is not only a brilliant talent, but is also a generous soul and she agreed!

"During the summer months I travel to Italy and am based out of Rome photographing weddings throughout Italy. Eagerly awaiting a wedding in Sicily! I've photographed a few weddings in the US and an unforgettable wedding in Fiji."

Her dreamy natural light photos have a romantic air about them which is not often found. Gina's images are as timeless as they are beautiful. Her story about how she got started? Heartwarming!
From Gina:
"I was a nanny for twin girls and frequently took photographs of them for their parents. The father of these beautiful girls saw potential in me and bought me my first SLR camera. I began to do photo sessions for family and friends. It wasn't until 2009 while I was living in Italy I began my wedding photography business. Being in such a romantic atmosphere inspired me. I was falling in love with life and really understanding who I was as a person and an artist."

"I'm a romantic to the bone and while I enjoy all the pretty details that go into personalizing and styling an event, I really love the intimate and soft moments, expressed between a bride and a groom throughout the wedding day. And the memories that are made between the two joining families."

"Many of my brides have mentioned my calming presence. I understand how overwhelming this day is for them. I really enjoy making connections with both my bride and grooms and I think they appreciate that. I'm not only there to work but to be a part of their experience."
