Hiking in high heels! For this engagement session, Jeff and Cat from the Apartment Photography took their couple off-the-grid in West Vancouver's famed Lighthouse Park. We absolutely love this location and the beautiful photos of Shelley and Phil prove it was worth the 2 hour walk!

"During our first meeting Phil and Shelley told us about how they love to go for hikes through the forest. Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver is one of those places that they frequently visit so when it came to thinking of a location for their engagement session it was a pretty easy decision. On a side note, I just want to mention how engagement session are really about the people and their relationship to each other and not just "pretty" pictures of people. That's why when we think of locations we try and find places that mean something to them. Or even activities that they love doing together. That way when their friends and family see the images, they'll see the depth to them. Anyways, we hiked around for about 2 hours and I think we got some amazing shots.
