Today's wedding from Vancouver-based Butter Studios is full of blue skies and blue ribbons. The blue skies made for some striking bridal party photos along the Stanley Park seawall here in Vancouver. The blue ribbon at the wedding cermony was a touching tribute to the bride's brother. Allison and David are clearly beautiful people inside and out.
And we absolutely love Allison's gorgeous bridal gown that transformed for a flirty reception dance surprise!
This wedding was quite special for Chris of Butter Studios as well. He first met Allison when they were science buddies in high school. Chris told us he was so happy to see his Grade 9 science buddy grow up into the beautiful and intelligent lady she is today, marrying the man of her dreams!

Allison's dad seeing his eldest daughter in her wedding gown was a very special moment. Allison had also lost her brother a few years ago and his presence was felt and symbolized by the blue ribbon during the couple's ceremony at the Vancouver Rowing Club in Stanley Park. David was one happy gentlemen during the whole day and was loving every moment of it. We even caught a couple of tears from the groom when he saw his stunning bride!"

"All the touches during the ceremony and the cocktail reception were special and unique to the bride and groom, including a "dessert combining" rather than a cake cutting.
The couple started off their first dance with a traditional number but ended in a surprise salsa number for the guests. The added touch included the bottom of Allison's wedding gown being transformed into a salsa-styled dress."
