We're thrilled to be back on our blog in this gorgeous New Year! We enjoyed about the most splendid holiday season imaginable, filled with family, friends, food... oh, and a big office and personal move in Vancouver (which we may not recommend squeezing in during such a busy time). However, after a little chaos we are settled and unpacked and are now feeling inspired for a lovely 2013!
When Elite Pro Roxana Albusel Photography submitted this stunning wedding to us, we simply could not wait to share! The bride shines in an unforgettable dress by Watters!

"Josee and Chris' wedding took place in September in a gorgeous small town in Quebec. The exact location is called La Bannik, a set of incredibly picturesque and magical cabins located on Lake Temiskaming in the municipality of Duhamel-Ouest. The bride and groom flew me to Quebec to photograph the wedding and it was an absolute dream come true. We photographed the engagement shoot and wedding in the same location, taking advantage of the September sunshine, the warmth, the golden colours, the clear water."

"I spent all weekend surrounded by the couple's family and friends and as much love as one can ask for. It was serene and beautiful and magic was definitely in the air all weekend. I loved how incredibly small and peaceful the nearby town was and being surrounded by so much history. I loved that the church they got married in is the same church that her grandparents got married in!"
Isn't Josee and Chris' little flower girl too sweet for words?! Delicate sprigs of baby's breath adorned her gorgeous golden locks.

"I loved that we did the formal portraits in surrounding farmland, utilizing the beautiful landscapes, farm buildings and crops. The scenery was breathtaking. I loved the style of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, from the lace to the fedoras."

"I loved the many, many personal touches added by the bride, from doing her own hair and make-up, choosing the music for the reception and taking care of all the decorations. The personal touches gave the wedding a simple, casual, soft feel whilst maintaining its gorgeous elegance. I loved the bonfire, the delicious pancake breakfasts, scrumptious meals and all around magic. These photos tell a short story of the truly enchanting weekend that it was."
