The twelfth of December is a day that I look forward to every year, and this year is certainly no exception! Fourteen years ago today, Mike took me out our first date and asked me to be his girlfriend. December 12, 1998 was really the first day of our love story.... and all these years later, we still celebrate:)
A whole lot of life, love, lessons (and a couple children) can happen in fourteen years; it has been a non-stop whirlwind adventure to say the least! The one thing I am sure of and thankful for every day is that I truly married my best friend. I feel blessed and privileged beyond words to have my soulmate by my side for each step of this beautiful journey.
Given this very special day, I thought I'd share just a few photos of me and Mike with our little ones at one of our favorite local beaches! This family session was captured this summer by Lucid Captures, a wedding photography team we absolutely adore.
